OUR IDENTITY
Founded in 2016, Virtro was created in the wake of Jordan Brighton’s successes at five of the first North American Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR) hackathons, including winning the Amazon Award at the 2016 VR hackathon held at the University of Washington.
Jordan and Lee Brighton became fascinated with this new VR technology and contemplated how powerful it could be if they could combine its immersive nature with the ability to communicate conversationally with Virtual Humans powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Virtro’s early work demonstrated Interactive holoprojections to remote locations. This R&D project won Startup awards for their HoloLens & Holographic innovations.
To date, Virtro has successfully launched titles on all major VR platforms, has launched 4 AR games and has won the highly-esteemed 2018 Oculus Launchpad Award ($100,000).
Unlike chatbot technology, the Virtual Humans can have open conversational dialogue with the learners. Our intent engines understand the complete sentence - not a trigger point word.
